今となっては、TVシリーズ「CSI」ですっかり人気者ですが、数年前まではインターネットで彼の名前を探すのも困難な程でした。人気モデルのロシュンバ・ウィリアムスと結婚していた事を突き止めても、彼の名前が出てこない状態でした。こんなに有名になってきて嬉しい限りっす。でもまだ熱い思いはありません...が、その姿に腰砕け。今はすっかり出演作にも増えてきたので、期待。

当時お付き合いしていた元・スーパーモデルのロシュンバ・ウィリアムスとパリでバカンス中に、俳優でプロデューサーのデビー・アレンに出会い、アレンはドォーダンを気に入り、彼女がプロデュースを手がけていた人気テレビドラマシリーズ「A Different World」で初めてテレビに出演する。その後もバスケットボール青春映画「サンセットパーク」などに出演するが、本格的に人気が出たのがテレビシリーズ「ＣＳＩ」の出演から。今はバッサリと切ってしまったが、前は長いドレッドヘアーがトレードマークだった。
